New parking restrictions have recently been introduced along Pembridge Crescent across from Archbishop O'Sullivan Catholic School, and on Pembridge Crescent at Taylor Kidd Boulevard. These regulations represent the standard approach for elementary schools across the city to discourage students from crossing the street mid-block when being dropped off and picked up.
On-street parking remains available directly in front of the school. In partnership with KFL&A Public Health, we have also identified two areas north or south of the school, within a five-minute walk of the school, that can be utilized in addition to the area in front of the school.

These areas are directly connected by sidewalks and/or a crossing guard, and help to divert some of the vehicle traffic away from the front of the school while also having the added benefit of incorporating a short walking trip to / from school.
